When a kind, humble pastor of a local parish asked me several years ago to do a watercolor of the community’s church, I said yes. This is “The Welcoming Light of Our Lady of the Seas”, and the figure in the midground is Rev. Andre Izac, the pastor himself. The parish ordered some limited-edition prints to use as a fundraiser but didn’t buy the entire edition.
